iJoints is a pocket interactive anatomy atlas of the major joints.
•The images have been reconstructed from the Visible Human Project® dataset.
•The labels can be hidden in order to see the underlying anatomy more clearly.
•Double tap or use zoom gesture to zoom in and out.
•The labels are divided into 4 categories: muscle, bone, blood, and other which includes nerves and organs.
•The goal for this joint anatomy atlas was to teach anatomy in a simple way and to act as a reference when viewing an MRI or CT.
Learning is presented dynamically. The ipod/ iphone interface makes learning interesting and fun. The touch screen adds the interactivity that cant be found in a static textbook. Test yourself by taking a quiz or playing the Match Game.
